1: The witnesses were Margaret's brother and sister, both of 15 East View, Preston.
2: I have not been able to find any information on James Farrell and I'm not even sure of his approximate year of birth as I cannot find him in any Census. He is not with Margaret and the children in 1901 and I cannot find the family in the 1911 census.
3: Sometime after their marriage James and Margaret moved to Seacombe, Cheshire where their first child was born, then to Southampton, Hampshire, where their other four known children were born.
4: The above information is taken from the registers of St Ignatius' Catholic Church in Preston, various census returns, and the burial registers for Preston Cemetery, all held at the Lancashire Archives.
