MONUMENT INSCRIPTIONS: "Of you charity, pray for the soul of Mary, wife of William Hayes, of Preston. Born June 1, 1832, Died Nov. 1, 1879. Also for the above William Hayes. Born Oct. 5, 1831, Died Dec. 7, 1895." (William and Mary Hayes are buried with Mary's sister Elizabeth Hull and her husband James Hull at Preston Cemetery. The above monument inscription is on one side of a four sided spire.) |
DEATH NOTICES: |
"On the 1st inst., Mary, the beloved wife of Mr. William Hayes, Bank-Parade, Preston, aged 47 years. Friends will please accept this intimation." |

Mary Hayes, age 47 years, was buried in the Hull family vault in the Roman Catholic section, C-399, at Preston Cemetery. Her address was listed as Bank Parade, Preston. |
William Hayes, age 64 years, was buried on 11 December 1895 in the Hull family vault in the Roman Catholic section, C-399, at Preston Cemetery. His address was 12 Bank Parade, Preston. |

1: | The headstone is a four sided pink-granite headstone approximately 20 feet high, two sides contain the memorials to the family of James and Elizabeth Hull. The forth side is blank. |
