1: Adam Porter is a bit of an enigma as some records record his birthplace as Wennington and some as Pennington. I believe Wennington is correct and will search further for his baptism record.
2: Adam Porter died very suddenly after taking ill at work. He did not leave a Will.
3: The above information is taken from the original registers of St Ignatius Catholic Church, and from microfilmed copies of the burial records for Preston Cemetery, all held at the Lancashire Archives.
