MONUMENT INSCRIPTIONS:
William and Mary Swarbrick are buried in the churchyard at St. Ignatius' Church, Preston. It is not known if their grave originally had a headstone or other marker as any and all grave markers were removed from the yard many years ago. The area has now been covered over in asphalt.

Their infant son William is buried in the churchyard of St. Michael and All Angels Church in Croston.

BURIAL RECORDS:
William Swarbrick (1) died on 1 March 1812, age 7 months. He was buried on 3 March 1812 in the east part of the churchyard of the parish church in Croston. The Burial Register from St. Michael and All Angels Church lists him as the son of William Swarsbrick (sic) of Croston, a miller, and Mary, his wife. The cause of death is not stated. His grave is unmarked and it's exact location in unknown.
Mary Swarbrick died from a bowel complaint on 2 October 1844 at 71 Park Road, Preston, which was later the home of her daughter Isabella Dawson-Smith. She was buried on 4 October 1844 in the churchyard of St. Ignatius' Church, Preston. The Death Certificate listed her as the wife of William Swarbrick, a miller. The informant was her son George, who was present when she died.
William Swarbrick Sr. died from asthma on 19 February 1846 at 111 Barton Terrace, Preston, the home of his son George. He was buried on 22 February 1846 in the churchyard of St. Ignatius' Church, Preston. The Death Certificate listed him as a miller, and the informant was his son George, who was present when he died.
