NOTES:
1: The Marriage License application for the marriage of Daniel Madden and Frances Carr was issued at the Venango County Courthouse.
2: The date of death for Frances is confusing as the headstone inscription at Grove Hill Cemetery in Oil City apparently records the year of death as 1899 but she was still alive at the time of the 1900 Census. She probably died in 1900.

NOTES:
1: The date and location of Daniel's marriage to Latha is a bit of a mystery at this time.
2: The spelling of Latha's surname is a source of confusion as some records spell it "Blosser" and others spell it "Blauser". Both spellings are common but Blauser seems to have been the more common spelling in Pennsylvania and I'm fairly certain that it is the correct spelling in this case.
3: The above information is taken from various birth, marriage and death records including scanned images at www.ancestry.co.uk.
