(Richard and his infant children are buried in unmarked public graves at Preston Cemetery.)

 

BURIAL RECORDS:
On 26 July 1866, William Boocock, age 1, of 5 Park Place, Preston, was buried in a public grave, H-709, in the Roman Catholic section of Preston Cemetery.

On 20 October 1873, Mary Josephine Boocock, age 4, of 5 Ribblesvale View, Preston, was buried in a public grave, II-235, in the Roman Catholic section of Preston Cemetery.

On 5 April 1879 Richard Boocock, age 45, of 3 Oxford Street, Preston, was buried in a public grave, G-225, in the Roman Catholic section of Preston Cemetery. Richard died at his home in Oxford Street from Acute Pneumonia and Pleurisy, which he had for 11 days. The informant on the Death Certificate was Richard Jr., also of 3 Oxford Street, who was present at his father's death.

1: [A Mary Douglas, of 2 Lark Hill Road, Preston died in 1898 (1st QTR 1898 Preston 8e 398) aged 59 (she would have been 61) but I have not confirmed that this is the right Mary Douglas. She was buried on 25 March 1898 in a public grave, N-371, in the Roman Catholic section of Preston Cemetery]
