"SWARBRICK - On August 10, at Queen Victoria Hospital, Henry, aged 86 years, the beloved husband of Rhoda Swarbrick of 8 Tibicar Drive West, very dear father of Tom, Rhoda, Harry and Connie and a loving grandpa. The service took place at the Lancaster Crematorium on Tuesday, August 28. Alan Willis Funeral Home, 2 Middleton Road, Heysham. Tel. 51595"

"SWARBRICK - On November 1st in hospital RHODA, aged 98 years, of 18 Heysham Hall Grove, the beloved wife of the late Harry Swarbrick, very dear mother of Rhoda, Harry and Connie (Australia) and the late Tom and a dearly loved mother-in-law, grandmother and great-grandmother. BURIAL RECORDS:

Henry and Rhoda Swarbrick are buried in the churchyard of St. Peter's Church in Heysham, near Morecambe, Lancashire, England.

It is believed that there has been a place of worship on the site for as many as 1400 years. St. Peter's Church dates from the Saxon period (8th century) and some parts the present day church date back to c. 1080. The chancel was built c. 1340–50 with the south aisle added in the 15th century and north aisle added in 1864.

The church sits beside the sea with views across Morecambe Bay to the Cumbrian mountains.

Henry and Rhoda's cremated remains are interred in the Garden of Remembrance.
