HER WILL:
 
This is the last Will and Testament of me, Bessie Swarbrick, of Fullwood in the County of Lancaster, widow.

I appoint my mother Margaret Green and William Henry Hayes of Preston, solicitor's clerk, to be the Executors and Trustees of this my Will.

I give devise and bequeath all my property both real and personal unto my said mother for her own use absolutely.

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this tenth day of January one thousand eight hundred and ninety nine.

Signed by the said Bessie Swarbrick as and for her last Will and Testament in the presence of us both present at the same time who at her request in her presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses

On the 7th March 1899 Probate of this Will was granted at Lancaster to Margaret Green, widow, and William Henry Hayes, the executors.

 

NOTES:
1: Jonathan was 39 when he died and, if his death was sudden, he may not have had time to make a Will.
2: Fulwood was misspelled twice in Bessie's Will but spelled correctly in the National Probate Index.
