| 1: | Elizabeth's birth certificate lists her birth date as 24 April 1847 which is probably correct, but the baptism register lists her birth date as 1 April 1847. The certificate also tells us that she was born at home on Cazneau Street, Liverpool and that Robert was a labourer. |
| 2: | Frances Swarbrick is a complete mystery. I have been unable to find any record of her birth, marriage, or death and she does not seem to appear in any census records. The only record I have of her existence is the mention of her in her father's Will, where he refers to her as, "...my daughter Frances Wareing of Cemetery Road, Preston...". |
