THE FAMILY OF ROBERT SWARBRICK

INFORMATION FROM WILLS:

 

ROBERT:
Robert Swarbrick, of the Everton Hotel, Everton Crescent, a Licensed Victualler, appointed Edward James Chavalier of 30 Johnston Street, Liverpool Book keeper, and John Thompson Smith of 6 Newington, Liverpool, gentleman, Executors of his Estate.

He directed that his wife Elizabeth have the use and enjoyment of all furniture and articles of personal, domestic, or household use, or ornament during her life as his widow.

All residue estate was to be converted to cash and all debts, funeral and testamentary expenses paid, then the balance invested with the dividends paid to his wife for her life as his widow. Upon the death or remarriage of Elizabeth, the estate was to be divided between his son Thomas Swarbrick, Iron Moulder, of Manchester, and his daughter Frances Wareing, of Cemetery Road, Preston - for her sole use.

The Will was signed by Robert Swarbrick on 3 May 1882, and witnessed by William Lewis and Mary Ann Storey.

Probate granted at Liverpool on 21 October 1882, Effects: £511, 11s, 10d, Gross, £342, 5s, 2d Net.

 

ELIZABETH:
Elizabeth Swarbrick, widow of the late Robert Swarbrick, of 28 Winifred Street, West Derby, Liverpool, appointed Edward James Chavalier of 30 Johnston Street, Liverpool, Book keeper, and John Thompson Smith of 6 Newington, Liverpool, gentleman, Executors of her Estate.

She left her entire estate, valued at £348, 12s, 11d, to her niece Elizabeth Ann Lomax Storey.

The Will was signed by Elizabeth Swarbrick on 6 April 1906.
