2: The burial registers for Toxteth Cemetery do not specify whether the burials were in public or private graves but I think it safe to assume that they were buried in public graves.
3: Reverend J.W. Welsh was a Curate at St Peter's Church, Liverpool and baptized at least two of John and Harriet's children.
