| ELLEN SWARBRICK Ellen Swarbrick of 49 Leyland Road, Penwortham, Preston, Lancashire, wife of George Leo Swarbrick, died 14 February 1948. Administration Lancaster, 14 May to the said George Leo Swarbrick, General Labourer. Effects: £149 2s 8d. GEORGE LEO SWARBRICK George Leo Swarbrick did leave a Will but there is no record of an Administration of his estate. According to his daughter Elsie, he only had £2 when he died and left that to her. She divided it between her brother Leslie and herself. Elsie also said that her mother left a handwritten Will and, although it was not part of the probate of her estate, her Will was used by the family and Elsie kept copies of both Wills. |
